FernHaus is our own venue — a forested property in Gales Creek, about 40 minutes west of Portland, that my wife Dionne and I have been building out as an intimate wedding and glamping retreat. Towering firs, mossy trails, open-sky ceremony clearings, and on-site cabins guests can book through Hipcamp for the weekend.
Because we run the place, we know every power drop, sight line, and acoustic quirk. Ceremony under the canopy, dinner in the clearing, dance floor lit up against the trees — it's a full-weekend feel without ever leaving the property.
