Grismore Wedding | Scholl’s Valley Lodge | DJ

We’re excited to DJ our first Portland wedding of 2015 for Jason and Bethany Grismore at Scholl’s Valley Lodge on Saturday May 16th! The venue is located just off River Road in Hillsboro and it sits atop a a hill giving you terrific views of the vineyards and orchards on either side. The whole place can be rented for the weekend and includes 7 bedrooms with King Size beds. There’s also a pool and other amenities for the whole family to enjoy before and after the wedding. There is a renovated hay barn that can be used for larger parties but Bethany and Jason choose to use the main parlor room which fits around 40-50 guests.

The day after launching our website in March, Bethany reached out to book us and became our first official wedding to DJ in Portland. From the get go, Bethany offered to help us expand our marketing even before she had a chance to see us in action. Bethany and Jason are truly some of the sweetest people we’ve met up here in Portland so far. They had a very intimate wedding set in the beautiful grove of trees atop Scholl’s Valley Lodge. They had a unique selection of music for the ceremony and the reception that reflected both of their personal journeys overcoming obstacles and strengthening their faith together.
